In the days of the alleged Adam & Eve, surgeons, gloves, instruments and operations did not exist. These have come about through the application of science not God.
In those days the best God could do was wander round a garden all day creating defective creatures. Perhaps he forgot to create and wear gloves and that is why they they were defective? He did however mange to communicate his plans, directly with his human children.
At what point in his evolution did he lose this ability and leave billions of humans guessing about his plans or even his existence?

given that the god of the old testament & the new testament don't seem to match up, and our first impression of god may be based on our parents, and the many progressive christian religions that stress god's love and grace, we probably all have completely different ideas of who god is; if he/she does exist.

i have since stopped being a christian and have been exploring paganism.. i don't advertise this for fear of offending people and getting judged for it.. so, we sit down to breakfast that i cooked at my house, and she asks me to say the prayer!

The Christians I have known are in general, as people, kind and loving. They do talk about their faith because people talk about what that they value and if they like you, they want to share something that they feel is valuable.
The pushy types that want to write pages of diatribe, often appear on sites such as this and give an unfair impression of Christians as a whole. But as I said, this has been my experience. Maybe yours has been different.

It seems that the Christian persuasion appeals more to pushy people than non-pushy people.
Despite not being a Christian myself, that has not been my experience - quite the reverse.
